Why do I Lose Moves?

Can someone please tell me why I get moves taken away on certain levels? This seems to happen most often on the "find a word" levels. Sometimes it happens when I use a booster, and sometimes for no reason that I can tell. Thanks.

most likely the blue move stealers are blowing up 

2 moves are lost when a move stealer blows up

the number shown with the blue circle tells how many moves are left before a move stealer blows up

the move stealer below blows up in 3 moves

to prevent losing moves ... the move stealers can be blasted or make a word using them

Level 453 on Alpha Betty doesn't have any blue tiles or bubbles, so what is a move stealer on level 453?

you may have a special version of level 453

most of us have 15 words in 17 moves for level 453

it also has 2 move stealers

the N blows up in 5 moves ... the U blows up in 8 moves

look for the blue circles

if your version does not have move stealers please let us know ... @Crazy Cat Lad is able to access accounts

The number in the blue bubble goes down with each word. Then 2 moves will be taken away for each blue bubble, even though I haven't done anything to pop the bubbles. What am I doing to have moves stolen?

when we watch a movie or a cartoon we often see a bomb with a timer. When the timer gets to zero the bomb will blow up.

move stealers are bombs with a timer. when the counter gets to zero we lose 2 moves.

how do we overcome this on level 453?

here are a some approaches:

1) select Adventure Mouse before starting level 453 ... it will remove one or two move stealers at the start.

2) blast the move stealers ... the ideal blaster will hit both move stealers at the same time ... see the image below

3) blast one move stealer ... there is an example with screenshots where one move stealer blows up and 3 stars can be achieved ... click on "examples" below to see screenshots for level 453(and others)
