Well that's what I have been doing, have not been getting anywhere though. I always seem to get diagonals, which don't even hit the blocks. Thanks smile

hi @reba71

you might consider a different approach when making diagonal blasters

if a potential blaster is never going to hit a blocker(without doing a shuffle) then do not create it

keep looking for a blaster that will hit blockers right away

if a usable blaster cannot be found then make a 4-letter word to create a crown
