Is there any way to go back to previous levels in Alpha Betty?

I hit a level that I find incredibly annoying. There is one puzzle that has WAY too few turns to get two given words where the letters aren't disclosed until you've cleared enough bonus letters.

While I will continue to work at it, it would be nice to go back to earlier levels and try to improve my scores on games where I did poorly.

As it is, I got three of three stars on the first few puzzles at this level only to hit this roadblock. It's definitely encouraging me to try another game.

if you are trying to go back to a previous chapter:

scroll down to the first level of a chapter(the same for a pc or a mobile device)

on a pc ... left click and hold while moving the cursor upward

on a mobile device ... scroll upward and hold until the next chapter appears

if you would like some ideas for a level ... just ask

Hi there Stephen, it's great to know you are improving your old scores as one of the ways to motivate yourself to score higher in the next level. I've only started playing this game few days ago and haven't explored it much but I've been playing other King's game i.e. Candy crush saga. In CCS, all I need to do is go to the map and select the level that I wanted to play. If you are able to scroll back to the previous level then it works. Otherwise, please provide more details on your issue by including a screenshot, to enable us to understand it better.
