ABS Level 280

👋 Hi there @abe_coffee & wordsmiths around!

I've been stuck on Level 280 for a while now & can't seem to find my way around it, it looks like I never seem to have enough moves... 😫

The closest I've gotten to completing the Level is by using Mystery Mouse even though the game suggestion is to use Cowboy Mouse.

Any help and/or tip will be gladly appreciated! 🙌

level 280 is a challenge ... make 9 longer words in 23 moves

Mystery Mouse is a good choice ... 1 or 2 crowns are added to the starting board

this is a good level to hone skills with crowns

one approach ... make 4 letter words and flood the board with crowns

how does that help make 6 7 & 8 letter words?

• crowns that are included in a word add to a word's length
• crowns that are blasted will lengthen a word ... AND most blasted crowns are returned to the board

try to create blasters that are aimed at multiple crowns

... this is a valuable skill that will pay off on most word-list levels going forward

another skill ... patience

for example ... find a 4-letter word ... do not play it right away ... continue to search the board for a word that meets the objective ... if a long word is not found then play the 4-letter word

I went for all your 3 suggestions & passed the Level with 3 Stars using Mystery Mouse.

1. Filled up the board with Crowns by creating 4 letter words (I'm quite good at that 💪).
2. Created Blasters that were aimed at multiple Crowns (got to create a few in this Level but this is a skill I still have to work on).
3. Patience. ... ... ... (I'm not good at this 😁but really took my time to be strategic when choosing to go for the longer words & it paid off!).
