green Klitscher - potato pancakes also called
It is a Saxon dish
Raw potatoes are grated and seasoned with pepper and salt. Grated onions are added.
With the spice caraway it tastes even more delicious.
Then oil is added to a pan.

The mixture like a small plate is added to the pan and fried on both sides until golden brown.
You can eat it with applesauce or sugar.
It is quick to make and tastes delicious.

The recipe of mine out of my head.
Potato salad, boil and peel potatoes. Cut onions and cucumbers into small cubes. chives small. Thinly slice the cooled potatoes. Mix everything together, season with salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. Mix with vegetable broth. let everything go.
It's a Pakistani dish
First slice the 4 potatoes very thin.
Then in pan heat oil and put the potatoes in it fry for 5 to 6 min on medium heat
then add some red chilli ,cumin seed , turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt( according to the taste)
then add 3 tomatoes (finally chopped) and green chili and cover the pot.
when the potatoes become soft then spread chopped coriander on it
Your dish is ready ...eat with bread or boiled rice

A traditional greek potato salad.
Wash 1 kg potatoes and boil for about 45 minutes. Run through cold water and peel.
Cut potatoes in your preferred shape and place in a bowl.
Mix Ā½ cup olive oil with 2 tablespoons lemon juice, add to the bowl and mix gently.
Add a small chopped onion, oregano and blend. Add salt to taste and serve.

Love potato pancakes
Potato pancakes, one of my favorite dishes
Peel and wash raw potatoes, grate coarsely on a grater or in a food processor.
Squeeze the liquid out of the grated potatoes. To do this, place the mass in portions in a kitchen towel and wring it out well. Then peel and finely dice the onion. Mix together with the potatoes, eggs, nutmeg, salt and pepper to form a dough. The potato dough is just right if it can be shaped easily. If there is too much liquid in it, you can bind with a little flour.
I use a cast iron pan for frying. Heat the ghee over medium-high heat. The potato pancake is ready when it is golden brown and crispy on the edges. Place the finished potato pancakes first on paper towels, then keep them warm in the oven at 50 degrees.
Either sprinkle with sugar or brush with maple syrup or eat with applesauce.

@PummyRaj Here is a recipe for Potato Salad (Puerto Rican). I learned how to make it by watching my mother and aunts.Ā
4-6 Russet Potatoes, 1/4 Green pepper, 1/4 onions, 1/4 Red pepper, 2-3 Eggs, 1/2 - 2/3 cup Mayo, 1 tbsp Oil, 1/2 tbsp Vinegar, Salt, and Black pepper.
Cut the potatoes into medium size cubes and put to boil until they are tender (not too soft) and boil the eggs. Chop all the veggies and hard boiled eggs to your liking. Mix everything together in a bowl. Add salt and black pepper to taste.Ā
FYI - Iāve estimated these measurements. I learned how to make this salad by watching, my mother and aunts rarely used measuring tool.
