I hope not J, hate to see people leave something that they love only because of a change that really wasn't necessary. The masses are speaking out, for the life of me I can't figure out why they would do this. It was fine the way it was.

When is this hero mode testing going to be done? Honestly think this is up there with the guy who proposed changing the shape of the Coca Cola bottle in terns of not being customer aware. If you want to understand game mechanics you have to play even just a little bit. Another game I play the devs all have accounts and are part of testing. This particular game you have the option of turning of beta testing. I am happy to be part of a beta test but would love the option to opt out rather than this seamingly endless hi jacking of the gameplay we are enduring at the moment.

You're making a lot of assumptions there 🙂. It isn't just one person making changes and the studio do have their own personal accounts that they play on. They also understand game mechanics as they are the ones making the games. Also some of those also will have the tests.They don't just design the game and throw it over to us. They do play too.
It seems like this is the first time I am ever having this conversation in reverse, but King are not alone by testing like this and always have been right from the start. How are they going to gather data from a fair representation of players if only selected ones are testing? Different log ins, different countries, different devices. It all comes into play. Some things work, some things don't....but they don't know until they test. Also just a heads up.....the data doesn't just go by complaints on here, or to player support. It also goes by people playing.
You only have to look at other big games to see that.
However we totally understand your frustrations and are making sure that they see this!
