Christmas season means for us decoration, family getting together and special food.
New year's eve has presents sharing among family and friends
@rebelchild , I hate all those things about Christmas too, so I just stopped doing them!
My son's were in their teens when we stopped (mainly because we just couldn't afford it) and we've all been happier since.
It does not stop us celebrating with 'special' food or spending time with family and friends, these are the more important things!

We will spend Christmas having a big family dinner then exchanging gifts. Then after everyone is gone we will go to my in laws to celebrate with them by another big dinner and exchanging gifts. Since I have 2 big dinners in one day I have to pick and choose what I'm eating lol. I'll eat a little here then when I got to the in laws I'll eat a little there and by time I get home I'll be so full and uncomfortable I'll have to hurry get my jammies on to get some relief π€£
