Won't accept my log in, won't let me play

I used to play, a few years ago.  I registered last night, new username, new email address.  The game logged me in, let me play at the old level where I had left off.  Today,  can't log in, can't play.  What's the problem?

    I'm playing on a Dell laptop, a Latitude E5440.  I've been in transition from an iPad and finding it very confusing and difficult.  I used to something of a power user, professionally and for recreation, but my skills and troubleshooting abilities have diminished in recent years. 
    I would appreciate it if you can help me figure out what I've done or not done.

    The desktop versions of our games are now running on a technology known as HTML 5 (for more information check here). HTML 5 allows our games to run better and faster on your desktop device. Facebook is the perfect place for HTML 5 games, so we are concentrating on making that version the premier desktop experience.

    1.     You can choose download browser from your Computer !

    Google Chrome
    You can download Google Chrome here

    Firefox
    Click here for instructions on how to install Firefox.

    2. Playing on Facebook / King account

    In order to play Pet Rescue Saga on Facebook, you will need to create a Facebook account. This is an easy process, which is outlined here.

    3. Playing on Windows
    You can also play the desktop version of  some of our games on a Windows PC via the Windows Store.
    You can check out the collection of our game here . Once you have downloaded the game you can move your levels over by connecting the game to your Kingdom account.  

    If you have a Windows 10 PC you can also download the game directly to your computer from Microsoft Store. Click here to download the game to your Windows 10 PC.

    I have a  Google account, a Facebook account and am truing to set up a Google account.  All three options atop me at the screen where I am to enter my birthdate, refusing to accept my actual birth year, 1952.  What am I supposed to do here?

    If you play on a computer you have to create a Facebook account. You can also play on the King account just by entering your Email
