In terms of language, I still suffer, as there is a big gap between me and the players and the community

I was very happy when they started working on it, but unfortunately it was not what I expected, even though my language is not listed among the languages.

But the problem has become when translating. I find it difficult to find that the language is not supported, or I have to stop translating the language automatically in order to copy and translate into the language.

I'd rather stick to English for everyone

  • @Spinnifix, yes, I decided to translate the language (thankfully the post was not edited) to see what did the member ask! As I guess, the member was asking about how and when are friends added in Jelly, this is the most possible question of new members and the answer is very simple!

I translated the question from Japanese to English and I answered in English!

We have to keep in mind that many players worldwide are overaged people who have not tech abilities and they use just a mobile phone, they are not students or computer freaks to know about translators etc.

We have to help them and not put them under house rules or anything that makes the situation more difficult!

Unfortunatelly, most of these members, when getting their answer they leave! It is very difficult to keep them engaged with the Community! The Community is for them a means that can offer an instant solution to some problem with their game!

However the Community has to be helpful for all, regardless if they are engaged or not with!

  • I wrote a comment here and it was "magically" deleted, I don't know why!

I don't have the patience to write it down again, but in brief I was speaking about the answer I gave to a member who posted in Japanese!

If the tables were turned and it was me that had to translate everything into English, I would not be as active in the community. Or I would give up altogether and leave. I am empathetic to those who have such language barriers

    Good morning

I would like to say something: If this community were in German, it
would also be very helpful to me. If players speak in their language,
I'm not an egotist myself and I'll use the translator to help. It's
always been like that for me, I'm there for all players and I also think
about all players. It doesn't bother me to think about how I can help.
    I really enjoy doing it.

    Hello dear CMs

I now travel around Jelly a lot, helping the players and making
suggestions and ideas in the ideas area.
Players used to be tagged by GMs and now they are no longer allowed to
    tag players.
It's just strange that you get tagged in other posts that have nothing
to do with the game. Especially when it comes to birthdays. I don't
want to be forced to congratulate people on birthdays. I would like to
    do it voluntarily.
But in the players' idea space, tagging would be important.
Since it is for the game.
Can you all please enlighten us about this? We as players are very
insecure about this and don't know how to behave. Whether it is still
worth opening up ideas. Because there is very little voices that is correct in
    this regard.

    Hello dear CMs

Now that I saw an email address on a picture that was posted, I'm starting to have my opinion on it:

    But to be honest,
I've already thought about it. Every person knows what he is doing.
The players voluntarily enter their email addresses here. The players do it voluntarily on their own. Remember,
it's just an email address and no bank account details.
If a player does it publicly, he is responsible for it himself. Since
there are no other options for us, some players, like me, have left our
email addresses open in their profiles. You can even go there. I'm
good at sorting out emails. You just have to tell the players that if
they leave their email address open, they are also responsible for it.
This means that the house rules are becoming increasingly obsolete.
You also have to let the players do their thing, but also with hints.
    That would be better.
Maybe the CMs could think about it. Please don't restrict the players
    more and more!!!

    Hi!

Everything that Peggy said is correct!

I want to add my experience of the tagging feature!

I have lost very serious messages (the most serious was about the R.C.'s final event), because they were buried among tons of notifications about birthdays, contests, the "international racoon day", celebrations of local U.S. interest, and other activities that are out of the sphere of my interests!

Now I realize that it is forbidden to mederators to tag players for the ideas section!

    I want to ask you:

    • Is this real?
    • If yes, why this decision has been taken?
    • Then why we continue receive notifications about useless information?
    • Is the Community going to become an every day's "ha-ha-ha" forum or it has to remain a helpful place for players about the games?

  • I can edit my post if I want, so that the email adress will be not visible!

The bad news is that I have less than 24 hrs to decide what to do! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿค–๐Ÿ˜‡

    Hello Nikos

Well said. There is no need to add anything else.
    Thank you.๐Ÿ’—
