the levels pretty much all needs boosters WTH!!??? Is going on??
Hi @Pcakes No one on here will/can tell you what is going on, but it is clear from the quantity of posts similar to yours that what ever is going on is not popular.
The semi-official answer is that no one would want the game to be too easy. That response doesn't really address the underlying issue that more and more people are having to use boosters to get through levels if they don't want to get stuck playing the same level for days.
For many the need to use boosters is seen as King making the game 'pay to play'. Obviously it is not that simple as no one forces anyone to do anything in the game.
Conversely when you get an Owl popping up every three seconds telling you that 83% of people needed to use boosters to beat the level that you are now stuck on the subject of 'pay to play' isn't so clear cut.
Anyway long answer short, have a look at the posts by @Gary_Turner in the thread linked below. For me they sum up the issue very well. And I enjoy reading them anyway.
Personally I find there is more than one thing to learn from Gary's posts.

Last week only 30 levels were released instead of the usual 45. The reason being that they had been made harder therefore only 30 instead of 45 ( still plenty boosters needed). It was a complete CON.
We’re back to 45 this week, but they are just as hard as last week. In other words, you STILL NEED PLENTY BOOSTERS to pass and you have ANOTHER 15 levels to do this week. If you want to complete the 45 levels this week then you better have PLENTY BOOSTERS or PLENTY MONEY.
KING has NO SHAME when it comes to wanting your money
