Black blank screen

when I. get a bonus and have to watch an add there is one add that comes up with a blank screen and all I can do is close out the screen and lose a chance to get a bonus to help my game. Is anyone else experiencing this. It doesn’t happen all the time. I am on an Ipad.

    Hi @avinelli I haven't experienced this issue myself, but I know other people have.

    The issue was a question the Candy Crush Support, but no reason has yet been provided for the issue.

    Which King's game are you asking this problem? 🤔

    The video ad feature is still a test feature, which means that some of you can get Lives, while others can get Booster or other items from this feature.

    This also means that the video ad feature will not always be available and not found in all player's games or on all devices.

    So if you at the moment are missing the video ads in your game, just stay tuned and keep an eye in the game to see when it's back.

    I am so annoyed that I get so many black screens instead of a chance of winning a booster. I have to shut the game down, clear the cache, then restart.

    Also, 30 second adds are way to long and boring.

    Don't worry! How about you follow these another troubleshooting steps of Crashing/Freezing issue/bug here (any device) that I hope nothing this happens. 😊

    ⚠️ NOTE ⚠️

    If you want to try uninstall and reinstall steps, you have your gold bars are saved/transfered and your current level is saved but all of the boosters have lost and some events will be reset or gone when you save your progress completed with Facebook or King.Com.

    Is this happening in Candy Crush Saga, or in any other game? You can post your question in the Support Area of the game you're experiencing this, and will find many player who are eager to help you out 🤗 Just let us know if you need more guidance!

    Hello there @Roha

    I wish to add on that I'm also experiencing the same thing as you. I've noticed that certain adverts would give us this trouble. It happened to me in Friends and Soda games. I know it's frustrating to watch the ad and only to found that the screen was frozen. I restarted my phone too.

    Here are some of the actions that I've taken to mitigate the issue:-

    1. Wait for the "tick" on the completed ad before clicking on the "next" button to watch the next ad;
    2. If the screen freeze, close the game and go back and play after one hour plus or more. This method is better than keep restarting our phone or clearing cache 😅😅;
    3. Skip watching second or third ad. This may be difficult to resist especially when we need few more moves to pass the level;
    4. Finally, please check for regular updates in the game.

    I hope the above steps can help you mitigate the issue for the time being. To be honest, I have to skip watching the ad especially on my Friends game. For Friends game, my Friends character was on loading mode in a new level, i.e. after I've passed a level via the free moves from watching advert. I'm going to report this issue to the Friends' game studio soon.
