Candy Royale reset back to 1 of 21 in the Adventure Path

Hello, today I was playing and my candy royale was up to 16/21 so I was excited that I might actually make it to 21/21 wins and score quite a lot of gold bars. I was at game 10680… But then I was shifted over to the adventure path set 21-25 After playing # 21 and winning it, all of a sudden candy royale prompted me to start a new run, so I was reset back to the very beginning at 0/21. I found this to be completely frustrating. I feel like I was robbed of a possible win of many gold bars.

can you please compensate me for the lost bars?
