Error when claiming a gift

I was offered 50 gold bars for leaving a review but when I clicked on the chest I recieved an error saying the gift coud not be claied right now. How can I still claim this?

    Hi Sean, 

    Where exactly did you find an offer than said you get 50 Bars for getting a review? 

    Was it as a pop up in the game or from an email or Facebook page.

    King do not normally give away free gold bars for reviews, and certainly not as prizes from pages. 

    Can you give me a screenshot or the link to the page that you got the information from please.

    If its not a genuine offer, that will be why the link isn't working and I have not heard of any promotion the game is running for that but I will double check. A lot of these Facebook pages that offer freebies in return for reviews, shares and likes are just click bait. Best to stay away from them :( I am pretty sure it won't be a genuine King offer.

    It was in game. I couldn't get a screen shot of it though. I'm playing on the Windows app if that helps.

    The error did say however that since the reward couldn't be claimed (I think the app crashed durring redemption) that I should check my treasure room or something like that but I cannot find anything like that.

    Ah well if it came up ingame that is completely different. 

    I will have to ask our moderator, but being Easter and we overwork her, she is having a nice rest until Tuesday. She has quite a long list to get back to, and she might have to investigate it with the studio so it might not be a response straight away that day, but don't worry, I will get her on it :)

    Unfortunately each studio has several teams for different things and communication is not always their first thought when it comes to other departments. So sometimes we need to ask and wait. But leave it with me, I will see what I can find out :)

    If it did come up again, or you see a friend post a screenshot of it, that is always super helpful. I will also ask one of my other co-superstars if they have seen this too and if they know where it might be found :)
