Crazy Scarabs BWS3 level 578

What’s the deal with the scarabs? I’ve tried to figure out a pattern to their madness over the last several levels, but each is different.  When I burst some, others from another area come flying in to block a move or just go flying up.  Is there a pattern or is it totally random? Has anyone figured it out?

I don't have a clue I am afraid, which is shameful I know. Ask me about Farm Heroes and I am all over it lol. I am trying to learn though, so I will give you this video link and ask someone else who will know

Beetles! I had forgot what the game called them. They can be helpful and annoying in the same level.  So I take it placement or movement is purely random.  I look for patterns in every aspect of life, to solve and figure things out. This makes my mind explode.  Yeesh!  Still fun. Thanks for the answer, now back to the game.
