Game feels like it's running in slow motion after last update

Especially noticable after fairies are freed and they fly to pop random bubbles, it just seems a lot slower to me.  Slows the pace of the game down.  Android 9, Pixel2 XL

Anyone else notice this?

    Yes.  Especially with the pointer.  The pointer gets stuck or is very slow a lot of the time.  It's get very irritating.  It also fires when I'm still adjusting.  I'm on android 7 with a note 5 (yep. OG)
