Magic beam not working right

I am on level 545. A few levels back, I bought a magic beam and then used it on those little flying beetles, at least I think that is what they are. At any rate, the beam didn't work on the beetles so I wasted my money. Shouldn't you have put a disclaimer of some sort that the magic beam didn't work on them? Plus you need a basic help section to list items and power-ups so users can look to see what they are buying actually works.

I imagine how frustrating this must have been! The magic beam works on the beetles- if they have nowhere else to move. The tricky part of those sneaky beetles is they get out of the way of Stella's magic if they can, that's why the magic beam cannot harm them.
The idea about having a help section where the Boosters are listed is not bad! Thanks!
