My lovely Christine ππ I am so happy to hear this news my love, there is nothing like being back at home and out of hospital, for you and your dear husband. I hope the New Year brings strength and hope π Your New Year starts a positive aurora of love and positivity π My thoughts are with you π
Oh Christine, that is the best of the best news! Prayers are the best. Hugs to you girl π€
That is wonderful news my friend what an amazing and happy start to the new year π
Thank you @PrettyBubbles. I'm just so grateful to everyone for making his return possible - especially the wonderful nurses, therapists and carers!
Thank you, my dear friend Traci. It's been very busy since he arrived home and he's quite tired, but very happy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers for a better year, especially healthwise!πβ€
PS: Every time I read "my lovely" in your posts, I hear it with a lovely Cornish accent.
Thank you, Jo. It certainly was the best way to start the year and I'm hoping and praying there will be no visits to Accident and Emergency this year π There is nothing greater than the power of prayer. Hugs to you too π€
Thank you Christine π hopefully things will get into routine and that your husband gets the rest and recovery he needs, and that the care is good.
π€ re the phrase and the Cornish accent, we say it a lot here.
Thank you, Traci. Things seemed to be going so well, but he's just been rushed back to A&E, as his speech suddenly deteriorated again. Our daughter has gone to the hospital and will ring me from there, as she knows what hours of waiting in A&E do to my back. Prayers are needed.
π₯ Oh NO!!π± I am so sorry! I really am my love π
Sending much healing πππ
I know in A&E here means at least half a day, day or night, often more.
I hope that he will not have to wait this long as he has just been discharged. A relapse should see him back in hospital care ASAP xox π
Thank you, Traci. He's currently on a rehydration drip on the corridor of A&E. They closed all of our smaller local hospital A&E units and the remaining hospital is overwhelmed. It is not unusual to spend a couple of days on the corridor. It's so common that even the lengths of the corridors have bed numbers on them! And we could certainly do without doctors striking again. Our daughter is still at the hospital and is sending me regular updates.
