The only other thing to do is to make sure you have at least 2gig of free memory and clear the game cache from your all devices settings menus as it may be full then close down and leave your devices off for a couple of minutes
If you still have no joy then all that is left is to uninstall again from all your devices and once you reinstall on your preferred device change your login details

I did all that but still couldn't log in.
I just this minute managed to do it through the connect button where it says 'forgotton your password? ', which obviously I hadn't, plus i'd already tried doing it before and it wouldn't work. So I tried again and this time it worked.

Yes when you change something the system thinks you are new the pop ups shouldn't stay around for long once regular play is recognised π
