I'm pretty sure 490 is the lowest possible score.
There are 45 balls in level 1 (I think the lowest of all levels) + 4 balls needed to get rid of all the groups of balls = 49 balls
49 x 10 (lowest point per hit) = 490 points
Without any fancy moves, and being careful of the fairy balls, it can be kept at 490.
I did the opposite of what I would to get high points.

I don't know how everyone else got their low scores, but here is how I I got my low score. However, I think the powers that be may have changed something, because I can't get near that low score anymore, using the exact same method. Shrug, maybe Stella is mad because I'm not helping her against Morganna.. Anyway, make sure you don't have any magic hats, or star cats or anything that boosts yoiur score. Like I said, I can't duplicate my lowest score, so my advice doesn't mean much...

Hi @Athena , I'd love to see how you did it because i can't get anywhere need your score, but don't post a video until after the competition ends, for obvious reasons 😉 (great low score btw 😊)
I've managed a low one though, but not as good as yours. And i only use 3 bubbles, the rest are shot at the edge so they just pop with no score, but once the rest drop it just adds to the score. I've had as low as 385 until they all drop 🙁
It took me ages getting this!

That's exactly how i've been doing it all along, but 1505 is the absolute lowest i can get, and believe me, i've been trying for over a week now 😂

Hi @DU123, I could not get in the 1500's...I got stuck in the 1600's. So that is a good score for sure! 😀

H Jo, same here, i kept getting 1630 over and over, it was never ending 😂 Then today i managed to get 1555 and i thought my luck had changed, but then tried again and got 1505 and was over the moon with that score 😀

OK...had a holey-moley moment. and figured out why I couldn't reproduce my low score. I guess Stella wasn't actually madf at me. I was making a subtle but costly mistake.
When you shoot your bubbles at the blank area at the top of the screen, a straight shot will go poof with no score added. However, banking off the side, even a little, will add points to your score. I did not know that! Also, if you shoot the bottom group of yellow bubbles, then exhaust all but one blue or red bubble, you can shoot the group with the fairy, and if you're lucky, the fairy weill zap the top hgroup of yellow bubbles, giving ab even lower score. Still haven't beaten Athena's amazing score, though...

I've managed to.lower my score, but it seems to be counter-intuitive to do it and I still can't get the low scores others achieve. Here's my screenshot:
