Android sound effect issues.

Hi. 
I am playing on Android. Music works perfectly .Game runs perfectly with the exception of the sound effects .some sounds are there but the majority is a screeching whit noise sound, especially on combos. I have reinstalled the game twice and the problem is still there .
Any suggestions please?

Hi @beeje What is the device and android version you are using? Are you running other apps in the background?  Does the sound occur through headphones as well?

Hi, 

Running 7.0 on an S6. I have ran apps in the background however, I have been playing in headphones. When I removed the headphones from my device the issue ceased, so at the moment it only occurs through headphones. I will try another set and see if the issue repeats, as well as try with out apps in the background.

There's another sound issue I need to talk about that is unlike @beeje 's. Wrapped candies only make a sound on the first explosion.

mine does sometimes with this and other games if I have other apps in background.. Can you close all apps, turn off phone and back on after a few seconds and try? If still an issue what is the device you are using and OS on it?

My phone is a Galaxy S4 mini running Android 4.4. I imagine the sound issue I mentioned above is not due to my device and version, but I instead consider a game issue that developers did not notice during development and testing. It's just one sound that must sound twice but only sounds once. And I hate it. There are many things that need sounds and other issues and bugs that need an urgent look, but hey, if King wanted to rush Candy Crush Friends Saga then it's not my fault that there still be issues on the wild. Dear community, I am incredibly mad due to a sound-related issue that is happening with Candy Crush Friends on my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini with Android 4.4 and might also happen on other Android devices of many kinds and versions.

Here's my problem: A great quantity of game sounds seem not to play at the second, fourth, sixth and so on times they are requested to play. I have first acknowledged this issue when I heard that wrapped candies only made a sound in their first explosion, but NOT the second. I also acknowledged this when I switched to another "world" through the portals: the 'warping' sound that is played once you tap the portal didn't play when I tapped another portal.

I need that the community and staff at King.com fix this issue ASAP and make a thorough test of Candy Crush Friends Saga on this device and many more to correct this and many more known issues that King.com must be aware of.

What do you mean by 'escalating'? If by that I meant something threatening then I apologize for being SO hugely mad. It's just that I hate that bug so much.

Maybe @QueenMia knows. She might work at King so she may help out with solving my mess. But yes, that bug is so getting me mad, but I am not against the King.com team at all.

I have merged your post to this one as the problem is the same. 

I indeed work for King and am the Community Manager here, and when our superstar @JustPlaying says she has escalated the issue, it means that she has reported the issue to me for help with further investigation. 

I've checked with the Studio and there is no issue reported with the sound, therefore I would think that it comes from the device and/or its settings. 

We have 2 articles for you to read: android problems and Crashes on Android - Please make sure you follow the steps in there and that should help on the sound issue.

Let us know how that goes.

Let me get one thing straight to you: It is NOT just the device. It can be the game itself on many other devices. If sounds are cut off it's just due to the fact that they don't play when requested at the times I mentioned on my thread. I also consider that there are some places where sounds may be needed, such as when hearts move on the "Fill the Empty Hearts!" stages. Mia (and I hope that is your real name because I don't lime talking to people by their usernames or nicknames), if you keep thinking that it's MY DEVICE'S fault that sounds don't play when expected then I have no choice but to toggle the music and sounds off. I'll look up on the links you've put above to see if it indeed is my device. In the meantime, thanks Mia!

@QueenMia Oh, and I have just checked the articles you've just put: My phone does not have any lags and the game does not crash on it. My phone IS at its last software update released (Android 4.4.2, launched 2014). I have the latest version of the game (the one with Tiffi the Vampire). My phone's model number is GT-I9192, the dual-SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. Mia, in case you want more information then I'll gladly provide it.

I'm sorry that the trouble shooting steps and info did not help. As I said, I've checked with our Studio and there is no other reports of sound issue on Android. I have tested on an Android device as well and it works as it should. This is what makes me think that it is due to your phone. 

Does the sound work properly with other King games, if you're playing any? Have you tried to re-install the game and clear cache and cookies? That usually helps fixing small bugs.

You win Mia. It was my device all the time. I've done everything but I just have to deal with it: every Android-powered device in Earth is not going to run a game just like all others.

Thanks for helping me with this, but again, I'm dealing with my bug for all eternity. What I look up from you and the King team is the addition of some more sounds on some parts (this doesn't happen specifically in my device). Bye Mia!
