How to ask for lives

I candy crush friends.  When I go to ask for lives  it only allows me to ask my Facebook friends and none else.... why?

Hello and welcome to the community @catsay1960, if you have a king account and are logged in with it then there should be a random group of friends that have been arranged for you to receive and send lives with?

Hello and welcome to the sweetest community @catsay1960, the studio is aware of the issue with sending-receiving of lives and is now working to fix the glitch that is causing this.. I also look forward to being able to help friends and have them help me, but meanwhile I will "stay calm and crush on" as I won't let this effect the fun I have playing. When will this issue be fixed. All I can do is ask for lives with my friends on Facebook.  This has been a problem since day 1 of me playing this game

Adding to what @Alansmart said above, this issue is probably very sophisticated, so only time will tell when this will be fixed. I hope it will be fixed soon, but for now, we just need to remain patient. Have a divine day😁🍭

I am also having this issue and hoping this gets fixed soon.  A real pain when I run out of lives and lose my chance to obtain the key to unlock a chest 😕 Would be really nice to have extra lives to use like in the regular Candy Crush

U so agree with.  Love this game, but I lose so much becuz I dont have the extra lives
