Here is a picture of Old Faithful from my trip to Yellowstone a few years ago. My family stayed in a cabin behind the Old Faithful Lodge so I saw it erupt several times.
So nice π₯° Thanks for sharing, guys! Those pics are all amazing π
@actipton80 nice shot! It reminded me of the geyser I've seen in Iceland... impressive! How high is the one in Yellow Stone?
@QueenMia My parents have been to Iceland, and they may have seen that geyser when they were there.
Old Faithful can vary in height from 106 to more than 180 feet (32.3β54.8 m), averaging 130 feet (40 m). -from Yellowstone's website. There are some geysers that are taller, but I didn't see them erupt.
My mom actually took that pic of Old Faithful while she and I were walking on the Geyser hill trail around it.
Itβs about to rain right now in Mystic, Connecticut but a scoop of chocolate ice cream would brighten up your day. Happy weekend everyone, and have your umbrella ready βοΈ
Those geyser pictures are amazing @actipton80 & @QueenMia, thank you for sharing it with us π
You're welcome, @mysticalmysty. That ice cream cone looks delicious.
