New Year’s Eve day

Bright and early the next morning, the door bell rings again. Tiffi and Kimmy race each other to see who gets their first.
It’s Nutcracker, Rancid and Rachel. Hugs and kisses to all, and then they go inside. Mr. Toffee is preparing a breakfast spread for everyone. The bacon smells great and Rachel has brought some bagels with cream cheese.
Yeti looks at one and then another and everyone is having so much fun. It’s such a good feeling when they can all get together. Where is King Chewy? He should have been here by now. Yeti picks up the phone and calls him just to make sure that he is ok.
“Hello,” says King Chewy. “Hi Yeti, I’m sorry that I’m running late. A couple of the players needed my help and I couldn’t leave them frustrated. I’ll meet you in the center of Candy Town around 8:00 PM tonight.”
Tiffi excuses herself so that she can get the hats and sparklers together so that they will be ready when it’s time to leave. Jenny asks her if she needs help and she replies that would be great. The two of them go off into the back bedroom to pack everything.
