“Blossom, what is that yellow flower over there?” questions Jenny.
Daffodils are one of the first flowers of spring and are planted in private gardens and public areas almost all over the world. Historically these plants have been cultivated for centuries, and by the late 19th century the bulbs became an important commercial crop for the Netherlands. There are hundreds of different types of these flowers now, and many different shades and colors, but the most popular color is still solid yellow.
The girls have had loads of fun learning all about the flowers from their new friend Blossom!
“Kimmy, we can’t leave yet,” Tiffi says. “I want to play with the maypole. Jenny come on let’s go play. I want the red ribbon. What color ribbon do you want Jenny?”
Jenny chooses the yellow ribbon and Kimmy chooses the purple, because that’s her favourite color. Blossom is exhausted. The girls tired her out with all their questions, but she really enjoyed sharing her knowledge with them.
Buzz Buzz ……….. Blossom flies around the maypole as the girls go around. She is just about to say goodbye when Tiffi asks her if she would please take a picture of them.
“Buzz buzz, here’s your phone back Tiffi,” buzzes Blossom. “I am going to say goodbye now. “
The girls wave goodbye to Blossom and now it’s time to go home. Jenny asks the girls if they would like to spend the evening with her and her uncle. They can have a PJ party. Tiffi says that’s a great idea and she has to call her father to let him know that she won’t be home tonight.
And so, their adventure comes to an end. When they get back to Jenny’s house the girls show Yeti the pictures that they took today. Yeti makes dinner for them and listens to their adventure. What a great day the girls had!
The End!
