As Tiffi arrives at Candy Bear Village she sees that Kimmy is waiting for her.
“Mind your step, sweetheart. The bears like to play on the bricks. Follow the road and you'll meet the one you need. Keep your sparkle up!”
Wow Tiffi didn’t know that the candy bears can speak.
“Thanks for the warning,” Tiffi says. “I am meeting with my sister Kimmy, and she’s over there waiting for me.”
Hugs and kisses as the girls meet up with each other. Now it’s time to meet up with Jenny in Cotton Candy Clouds.
Kimmy tells Tiffi that she was reading up on a holiday called May Day.
“Did you know that May Day is an ancient festival of Spring in many European cultures?” Kimmy says. “Dances, singing, and cake are usually part of the festivities. In celebration of this day, people anonymously leave a May Day basket with spring flowers and sweets on each other’s doorsteps. Isn’t that interesting?”
Tiffi is intrigued with this information but very surprised that her sister did some googling. She never did that before. Suddenly Tiffi notices a bunch of flowers up ahead and she wants to take a closer look at them. What beautiful colors this flower has. Once again, she takes out her phone to check it out.
Nasturtiums is a pretty trailing plant that has blooms of red, orange and yellow. These little flowers are known to be attractive to bumblebees as a source of both pollen and nectar, and the flower shape provides a perfect landing spot for them. The petals have a slightly peppery taste reminiscent of watercress and make a lovely salad ingredient. All of the parts of the plant are edible.
Kimmy grabs hold of Tiffi’s arm and says that they can’t keep stopping to look at all the flowers or they will never get to meet Jenny on time.
