A couple of days later Chewy gets a phone call from Tiffi asking him how he is doing. She tells him that she wants to get him together with all the characters to have an intervention. She found some very interesting information on Google about interventions.
“An intervention is an orchestrated attempt by one or many people – usually family and friends – to get someone to seek professional help with an addiction. The RAAD model focuses on using positive psychology and setting up the scene and removing barriers prior to the actual in person intervention. It uses Active listening and open-ended questions in a sales process that puts the client in the driver’s seat to make an educated decision.” (Wikipedia)
Tiffi realizes that he doesn’t need professional help because Chewy does have some really great qualities. He just needs to learn how to recognize the negative behaviour and stop it in its tracks. She feels that with the help of all their friends telling him that he’s not all bad that might help him. Or maybe if they all got together they can discuss things that he might have done wrong and then show him how to turn it around. She tells Chewy that she will set it up and get back to him.
Chewy really loves his friend Tiffi. She is always helping everyone. He doesn’t know how she has the strength to do it all the time. But then he remembers that she has the energy of an Eveready battery. She just keeps on going and going and going.
“I will get back to you once I set it up,” Tiffi says.
