The king now has tears running down his face as he recalls the day’s events.
“I was out doing royal things,” king says. “I left my son and the queen at home. Who would have expected the volcano to erupt out of the ground destroying everything in its path? When I got back the queen was outside and she was frantically calling out for their son. She explained to me that she went outside to talk to the gardener and she left Chewy inside. She was outdoors longer than she thought when she heard this rumbling noise coming out of the ground. Then suddenly this volcano surfaced and splattered bubblegum all over. She was devastated when the castle collapsed. She thought for sure that our Chewy was still inside when it went down. I couldn’t calm her down. Both of us started calling his name and searching all over for him. It was very difficult walking around because the bubblegum splattered all over town. She cried in my arms that day and for the next few days no one could talk to her. She died of heartbreak a week later.”
Tiffi and Jenny can’t control their tears. It suddenly hits Tiffi that the king called his son Chewy. Could it really be one and the same? Could Chewy have finally found his father?
Wait a second ………… what’s this? Is Chewy up to his old tricks again.
“Look at who I just found stuck in a glob of bubblegum,” Yeti says. “I better have a talk with our bubblegum troll. It looks like he’s up to his pranks again.”
They have to call him because they really do believe that this is his father. Tiffi gets Chewy on the phone and asks if he’s free. He tells her that he just got back from helping some players. She tells him to stay where he is because she has to talk to him.
Let’s continue to the next part of the story – Chewy is at a loss for words
Start at the beginning – Chewy finds his father!
