Dachs recognizes the king

Jenny makes a phone call to Tiffi and tells her that she spoke to the King and they are heading back towards the Candy Kingdom. Tiffi gets all excited and tells Jenny that she will contact Chewy to meet us.  

“Tiffi, I love you so very much, but please slow down,” Jenny says. “You don’t want to build up Chewy’s hopes only to find out that he might not be his father. Why don’t you contact Dachs and meet us at the park. Let’s see if Dach’s can confirm that this might be Chewy’s father because he met the king before leaving Cake Town.” 

Tiffi agrees and tells Jenny that she will contact Dachs. 

A little while later Jenny brings the hot air balloon down in the park. Yeti is fast asleep so he must have snuck some chocolate when they took off. She decides to let him sleep. He takes the King over to meet Tiffi and Dachs. 

“Hello, your royal highness,” Tiffi says. “My name is Tiffi and this is Dachs. He might recognize you because he was living in Cake Town about the same time that you were.” 

Dachs recognizes him!

“Yes, I remember you,” Dachs says. “You lived in the castle not too far from the center of town. We all packed up and left Cake Town when we found out that the town was built directly on top of a still-active Bubblegum Volcano. I remember that you had a very young son. Wait a minute, girls are you thinking that this could be Chewy’s father? They sure do look a lot alike. What ever happened to your son. Is he still living with you?” 

The king explains to Dachs that he wasn’t aware that there was a volcano so close to his castle. One day it erupted when he was out doing some royal things. The queen and his son were still at home when the volcano erupted.
