Time for the fireworks

On the way back home, Chewy’s phone rings. It’s Tiffi calling. 

“Hey Chewy, some of us have already gathered here in town so whenever the two of you are ready head on over here.” 

It’s late afternoon when Chewy and Arthur arrive. It looks like most of the same characters that came to the picnic yesterday are back here today. Arthur is thrilled because now he can spend some time talking to Mr. Toffee and Yeti.

Later afternoon turns into the evening and it’s now getting dark outside. Mr. Toffee looks at his watch to see how much time there is until the fireworks begin. 

“We only have a half hour until it begins,” says Mr. Toffee.  

30 minutes……………. 25 minutes ……………………. 15 minutes …………………… 10 minutes. Everyone is getting antsy .…………………….. 5 minutes ………………….. 4 ………….. 3………………. 2 …………….1 ………………….. 

The sky lights up with such beautiful colors and patterns. OM! The town outdid themselves this year with the3se beautiful fireworks! 

A half hour later, it’s all over. Time to go home. 

Hugs and kisses and promises to get together again real soon.
