Chewy and Arthur head on home. He really enjoyed the time that they all spent together in the park today. He tells Chewy that he is very pleased that he has met all these wonderful characters. He really enjoys talking to Mr. Toffee and Yeti, when he finally woke up! He looks forward to seeing them again at the fireworks.

“Goodnight Dad,” Chewy says. “It really feels good to be able to say that. I never ever thought that I’d see you alive and well again! Miracles really do happen. I just wish that Mom was still alive and with us here in Candy Town.”

Arthur tells Chewy that she is watching over him and she is smiling knowing that her two men are back together again.

The next morning, the two of them head back to the furniture store to look at dining room furniture. Along the way to the store, they bump into Rachel and Rancid. Chewy introduces the two of them to his father.

“Dad, I’d like you to meet our lovebirds,” Chewy says. “This is Rachel and Rancid. Rancid used to be a mean character who enjoyed stealing things but ever since he moved to Candy Town and met Rachel he has become totally different.”

Rancid laughs because he heard about Chewy and all his pranks. Anyone can change. Chewy asks them if they will be going to the fireworks later. They tell Chewy that they will so Chewy tells them that he and his father will see them later on.

As soon as they walk around inside the store, Chewy finds a dining room table and chairs that he really likes. Arthur agrees with him and that’s the set that they will buy! Time to get a delivery date.

Let’s continue with the next part of the story - Time for the fireworks

Start at the beginning - Chewy is overjoyed that he found his father!
