Pan-Pan goes back to the zoo

Bright and early the next morning Pan-Pan starts his journey back to the zoo. He really and truly hopes that his sister will join him in the Candy Kingdom. He walks and walks and walks. He doesn’t remember the distance being this long before. He doesn’t want to use the blue crystal unless he really loses his strength.

“I’m almost there,” Pan-Pan thinks to himself. This is the Parc de la Ciutadella and the zoo can’t be much further ahead.” 

He is getting very excited at the thought of seeing his sister again. He really hopes that she will come with him to the Candy Kingdom. He misses her so much. Finally, he arrives at the zoo but now he has to find a way to sneak in without being caught. If the zookeeper sees him she will put him back in with the other panda bears. 

He finally makes it to the panda bear area and he sees Ling-Ling trying to climb a bamboo tree. He makes his way over to the tree and hides behind it so no one can see him. 

“Psst, Ling-Ling it’s me,” Pan-Pan says. “Please come down because I want to talk to you.” 

Ling-Ling is really happy to see her brother and she jumps down and hides behind the tree next to him. 

“What are you doing here?” she questions. “I thought that you were going back to China to be with our parents.” 

He explains to her that he somehow ended up in the Bamboo Forest in the Candy Kingdom where he met these really neat characters. He tells her all about Tiffi and Yeti and how they were able to get in touch with Genie Jellybeanie so they all went to visit him. He shows her the blue crystal and the power behind it.  

“I don’t want to go back to China anymore,” Pan-Pan says. “I fell in love with Bamboo Forest and they have a lot of bamboo trees so we’d have plenty of food. I really like Tiffi and Yeti so I want to live in the Candy Kingdom and I want you to come with live with me. You will love it there. So please Ling-Ling, I need my sister to come live with me. Will you join me over there?”

Ling-Ling is so happy to see her brother again and she gives him a HUGE bear hug. Yes, she will go live with him in the Candy Kingdom. Pan-Pan is so excited and the two of them try to sneak their way out of the zoo.
