Yeti calls Tiffi to let her know that he bumped into Pan-Pan in Bamboo Forest. He wants to help her find a way for him to go back home to be with his parents. Tiffi tells him that she’s been doing some googling to learn more about panda bears.
“Yeti, I can’t believe how much information there is out there on panda bears,” Tiffi says. “I found out that if the Momma panda bear has twins she is unable to care for more than one infant. But I found a research center that tricks the Momma bear into thinking that she only has one baby but then switches them back and forth so Momma ends up taking care of both twins. I am trying to think of ideas to help Pan-Pan get home but I haven’t thought of anything yet.”
Yeti tells her that he has no idea but suggests that they both meet at Bamboo Forest and talk to Pan-Pan again.
An hour later they both arrive at the same time and Pan-Pan is climbing the bamboo tree.
“It’s great to see you happy again Pan-Pan,” Tiffi says. “Yeti and I are trying to find a way for you to get back home to your parents. Where did you say they lived?”
“My parents live in China,” says Pan-Pan. “Do you want to hear a story that my mother told me about who first found us?”
Tiffi and Yeti both nod their head yes. Tiffi loves trivia and Yeti is starting to enjoy it too.
