Tiffi ponders about her sister’s thoughts

Bright and early the next morning Kimmy runs into the kitchen but Tiffi is not there. Then she has to be at her computer. Yes! There she is! 

“Tiffi, did you see Bubsy reading the book to the bears?” Kimmy says. “Isn’t it awesome?”

Tiffi looks at her sister with a strange look on her face.  

“Kimmy, I walked into your room and the only thing that I saw different was you,” Tiffi says. “You were sitting on the floor next to the shelves but you were sitting by yourself. I didn’t see a bear reading a book and the teddy bears were on the shelves.” 

Kimmy thinks that her sister is a bit koo koo. She knows what she saw! She tells Tiffi that tonight she has to sleep in her bed with her. When she hears the noise, she will wake her up so she can watch Bubsy reading the book. Tiffi agrees. 

Day turns into night and night turns into darkness and now it’s bedtime gain. The girls both go into Kimmy’s room and get into bed. Kimmy is too excited to sleep but Tiffi falls asleep immediately. Kimmy hears the noise and wakes up Tiffi. 

“Tiffi, wake up, Bubsy is reading the book,” Kimmy says.  

Kimmy pulls Tiffi out of bed and then she runs to the other size of the shelves to sit with all of them.

“Let’s do the two travelers and a bear,” Bubsy says.

‘Two Men were traveling in company through a forest, when, all at once, a huge Bear crashed out of the brush near them.

One of the Men, thinking of his own safety, climbed a tree.

The other, unable to fight the savage beast alone, threw himself on the ground and lay still, as if he were dead. He had heard that a Bear will not touch a dead body.

It must have been true, for the Bear snuffed at the Man's head awhile, and then, seeming to be satisfied that he was dead, walked away.

The Man in the tree climbed down.

"It looked just as if that Bear whispered in your ear," he said. "What did he tell you?"

"He said," answered the other, "that it was not at all wise to keep company with a fellow who would desert his friend in a moment of danger."  (Info here)

Kimmy gets all excited and asks her sister if she saw the same things.
