@MollyS - welcome to our friendly community. Try logging out of your profile, clearing your cache and cookies and powering on/off your device to try and help reset the graphics.
Switching between tasks just means selecting whichever path makes sense for the new level you play. In order to capture the points you have to beat the level too so you have to be strategic with your choices as well 💪🏻

Well I can see I won’t do very well at this as I’m stuck on a level that I don’t expect to pass very soon. I was happily collecting double stripes before I realised they don’t count unless you pass the level. I’m not sure what you mean by this @QueenMia I what new blocker / what side levels? or does this come later in the event.

Hi @QueenMia! I have the event but no matter which task I choose to do it does not count what I have completed. For instance, at first I chose "combining striped candies with striped candies 30 times" and did it probably nine or ten times over the course of playing through my lives and it still said I was at zero. So then I switched to a different task, this time making "150 wrapped candies" and played through my lives only making about six, but it still indicated a count of zero. I've tried a forced close and then reopened the game - no change. Looked to see if there was an update that needed to download - no updates popped in when I checked. In case you need it - my User ID is 6770751579, playing in a Windows 10 PC, and my game version is1.39.4.0. Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to do on my end and in the meantime, I'll keep playing and hope that it starts actually counting my progress on the tasks.
