Kimmy’s trip home is delayed

The next morning Tiffi is up at the crack of dawn. She sends Kimmy a text message to ask her what time she’ll be arriving. Then she sends a text message to Dachs telling him to wake up because it is going to be a crazy day.   

“Hi Tiffi, since I just got your text message I knew that you were awake,” Kimmy says.  “There is going to be a delay. I can’t come home this morning because the post office asked me to work today and I can take off Monday instead. I’ll be there tomorrow morning and we can spend the day together and first thing Monday morning I can go out with Dachs to help him with the deliveries while offering him some tips.”

Tiffi is a bit disappointed but she understands. She tells Kimmy that she will see her tomorrow morning.  She checks her phone and there are some players needing her help already. Guess it turns out for the better that Kimmy isn’t coming today. She sends Dachs a text message saying that Kimmy can’t make it today but she will go out with him on Monday when he does his deliveries.

Dachs is so confused when he sees the text messages from Tiffi. 

“What is she talking about?” Dachs thinks. “What plans? Why is Kimmy coming?”

Our poor dog! Don’t you feel bad for our donut dog who just can’t remember a thing. My heart feels sad for him.
