It’s dinner time!

Just as Tiffi finishes cooking dinner, Mr. Toffee walks in the front door.

“Hi Dad, I’m in the kitchen,” Tiffi says. “You’re not going to believe what happened today. By the way Kimmy is coming for the weekend. Dachs started working as a mail carrier today. Need I remind you how forgetful he is? Well he did it again! I called him to find out how he was doing with the mail and he completely forgot that he was supposed to be delivering the mail to everyone. He was chasing a butterfly. He put his bag down so that he could chase her quicker and the bag fell into Lemonade Lake. Lucky for him, there were only 2 letters in the bag and they were both junk mail. I called Kimmy asking if maybe she could offer him some tips and she told me that she didn’t have plans for the weekend so she is coming here.

That made Mr. Toffee very happy. He is the happiest character when he has his two girls together.

“Poor Dachs,” Mr. Toffee says. “I can’t imagine being in his situation and being very forgetful.  But, then again, if he has always been this way then he doesn’t know anything different.”

The two of them sit down to eat dinner and Tiffi asks her father if he got the striped fishies in yet.

“Not yet,” says Mr. Toffee. “I will have to call the supplier on Monday since they are now closed for the weekend.”
