Is the show finished?

“And that’s it for our high-wire performers,” says the ringmaster. 

Suddenly several people in the audience start applauding and standing up. Some are even starting to leave. Is the show finished? The ringmaster asks everyone where they are going? The clowns come out and start fooling around with the ringmaster. Guess the show must be over.

Tiffi tells her friends that they need to wait here for Katie. Oh look, here she comes now. 

“Hi guys, how did you like the show?” Katie questions. 

They all start speaking at one time. Tiffi tells them to slow it down and take turns speaking. She tells Yeti that he can go first. He tells Katie that his favorite part of the circus was watching the clowns act goofy. Red Rabbit thought that the tightrope walks were pretty cool. Chewy says that the contortionists were pretty interesting and he is amazed at how they can bend so easily. Kimmy says that the high-wire performers made her a bit nervous. She kept thinking what might happen to them if they suddenly fall on the floor. Tiffi loved the entire show. She can’t even think of one act that she enjoyed more than the rest.  

“Guys, I’d like to introduce our ringmaster,” Katie says. “Joe, these are the friends that I was telling you about last week. I met Tiffi and Chewy when the tents were being set up. Kimmy and Tiffi are sisters. Yeti and Red Rabbit are Tiffi’s friends. Hey guys, are you hungry at all? Do you want to come back with us? There’s plenty of food back there and you can meet everyone that performed tonight.” 

Wow! What an experience! First the show and now to sit with all the performers and talk to them. What a night to remember. They all follow Katie and Joe.
