Who is Betty?

Betty is a young mouse in the 1930s. She's full of energy, spontaneous, always curious on new things and looking for new exciting adventures. She's curious about the book her grandfather is writing, but she's too impatient to sit home and wait for it to be finished.

Her grandfather Professor Alpha is the world's leading collector of words. Smart, sharp, but a bit confused. He's basically living in his library that is crowded with books. He is also writing his own book, Encyclopedia of Everything, but the book seems never to be finished. Professor Alpha always finds more topics and stories to add, so he's still working on it. Let's see if it ever will get published… 

Barney is Professor Alpha's faithful assistant. He's not that smart, not lazy, but a bit comfortable. He has a heart of gold though and is always there to help and rescue Professor Alpha when he gets into trouble. He is also Betty's dear friend and many times joins her adventures and expeditions. Barney's big passion and love in life is cheese. If he smells a nutty Parmesan or a mature Cheddar around, nothing will stop him from finding the cheese to have a bite.

They set off in search of never before seen words, racing around a world very like your own, except for one small detail. It is a world inhabited by mice and much of it is made from cheese!  

Betty tells her grandfather that Tiffi and her friend Elsa are coming for a visit. Elsa is a storyteller and loves to write stories about the Candy Kingdom.  

“Tiffi told me today that Elsa started writing a new story but then something strange happened,” Betty says. “Out of nowhere these words started popping up on her page. She never even typed so how is that possible? They are both coming in tomorrow so maybe you can help them.”
