Elsa bumps into a couple of Superstars

Elsa starts heading back towards the area where all the people were looking at something on the mobile tablets. Something catches her eye so she stops to take a look. 

“I remember the Skylanders,” Elsa thinks. “My grandson loved playing with it. I remember the Disney Infinity that my granddaughter loved playing with when she came to visit me. I completely forgot about them.”

Someone taps her on the shoulder. She turns around to see who it is and is very surprised. It’s @firebombmarkus and @bearwithme.   Hugs and kisses.

“What are you guys doing here?” Elsa asks.

“We both heard that they were having this game fair here in Barcelona so I asked my buddy if he wanted to go with me,” says bearwithme. “Here we are! Did you get to see the King booth yet? It was fascinating to learn which games came out first. I always thought it was Candy Crush Saga but found out that it was Bubble Witch.”

“Where are you heading next?” questions firebombmarkus. “We are heading over to the future booth. Do you want to join us?”

The three of them head towards the future booth. They can’t even begin to image what’s next for the gaming industry?

‘It appears that the next big innovation appears to be virtual reality, or VR gaming, which has been attempted before by companies like Nintendo. The company released the Virtual Boy console in 1995, which was considered by most to be a flop.

Consoles also continue to improve, and now incorporate far more than just game-playing abilities. They’ve evolved into entertainment hubs, allowing you to watch live TV, access applications to watch movies, and even access your social media accounts.

Gaming has clearly grown far beyond turtle-stomping plumbers and Dig Dug. The industry’s ever-expanding reach continues to draw in new fans and converts.’ (Info here)
