Tiffi and Mr. Toffee make plans to watch a TV special

Tiffi arrives home and turns on the TV. She heads towards the kitchen to start preparing dinner for her and her father. She hears someone mention “unicorn” on TV so she heads back into the living room to find out what they are saying. They are showing a picture of a unicorn and the announcer is asking the audience ‘Why Is Everyone Still So Obsessed with Unicorns?’

‘They’re on bags, T-shirts, key chains, pillows, humidifiers. They’re in frappuccinos, noodles, ice cream. We make movies about them, and TV shows, and toys. Children love them. Adults love them.’

The advertising for this show mentions that the show will be on tonight at 20:00 CET.  Tiffi finds this a funny coincidence that she is talking to her friends about seeing two beautiful unicorns and here is an announcement that they will be talking to author who wrote a book about the history of unicorns. She sets her TV to record the show just in case she is too busy to watch it later. Now it’s time to head back into the kitchen to finish cooking.

Shortly after, Mr. Toffee walks in the front door.

“Hi Dad, I’m in the kitchen,” Tiffi says. “Dinner will be ready in a few minutes.”

They sit down to eat dinner and Tiffi tells him how she saw the two unicorns in Bamboo Forest and then she met up with her friends at the park. She tells Mr. Toffee that they are going to have a TV special on tonight about why people are so obsessed with unicorns. 

“I would like to see that show with you,” Mr. Toffee says.  

They finish eating and Tiffi cleans up the kitchen. Then she heads on over to her computer to check on things in the community.
