Lettuce and Corn cropsies sing

Rancid signals for the next act to come to center stage.  

“Here we have 2 cropsies that are very new to the area,” Rancid says. “They are not in the competition but wanted to be included in the show. They are going to sing a song. Take it away!” 

The corn cropsie tells Rancid that they are not new to the area. They grew in Farmer Joe’s field and when they heard that there was going to be a talent show they wanted to participate. The lettuce cropsie gives the clue to the corn cropsie that it’s now time to sing. 

Let us entertain you

Let me make you smile

Let us do some tricks

Some old and then some new tricks

We’re very versatile

 

And if you're real good

We’ll make you feel good

I want your spirits to climb

 

So, let us entertain you

And we'll have a real good time, yes sir

We'll have a real good time...................... 

Rancid wonders how they came up with this song and then it hit him. Lettuce = Let us. Now that’s a good one. 

“Thank you lettuce and corn cropsies,” says Rancid. “That’s a good song – sounding like your name.” 

The two cropsies wave and walk off the stage.
