Kimmy decides to give Yeti a call to find out what he’s been up to.
“Hi Yeti, how are you?” Kimmy says. “I can’t believe that it’s still downpouring. It feels like it will never stop! I was so bored that I went on my tablet and checked on Google to see if there is any way that we can make the rain stop. I found articles on mantras and then I continued searching only to find a bunch of songs about rain.”
“Just as I was ready to give up searching I found an interesting article,” says Kimmy. “This article mentioned a US company that invented a powder to remove clouds from the sky. It seems that they used airplanes to drop this powder on to the clouds to burst the cloud. They called it cloud seeding. I didn’t find too many articles on it. Maybe they still need to do more research on it.”
Yeti tells Kimmy that he has also been bored because he can’t get out to help the players with the game levels. He tells her that he has been doing it remotely so that the players don’t get frustrated.
“I also did some googling on how to stop the rain,” Yeti says. “I found some articles about the Native American Indians rain dance. Then I found a neat video from a movie called Singing in the rain.”
“It has a very catchy tune,” says Yeti. “It’s not going to help us find a way to stop the rain, but I liked it. I’ll send you the link and you can watch it for yourself.”
Kimmy is looking forward to watching the video. He tells her that he hasn’t found anything yet on how to stop the rain. How are they going to get it to stop?
