“Hi Dad, are you in the back?” asks Tiffi. “Fishies………………… you got more fishies in, hooray!”
She grabs a handful and sits down to unwind. The last player really did her in. It took a little longer to clear the level but he finally was able to clear it.
She picks up her phone and tries to do a Google search on little people. It’s bugging her because she can’t remember who those other little people were. She just saw one standing outside her father’s store, but he took off too fast so she will have to find out who he is on Google.
‘Little people have been part of the folklore of many cultures in human history, including Ireland, Greece, the Philippines, the Hawaiian Islands, New Zealand, Flores Island, Indonesia, and Native Americans.

• Pixies
• Sprites’ (Source)
“Well I know what elves look like,” Tiffi thinks. “I know that leprechauns wear green. I think Pixies are like fairies. I have to check out the rest of them. This is bugging me!”
The first name that she has to check is ‘Dwarves’ so she types that in and yes that’s who the other little people are!
So now she can see the difference between the elves, dwarves? dwarfs? and leprechauns. She will have to find out why the spelling is different for a dwarf. But for now, she wants to find out how they differ. Time for more googling!
