Rancid and Rachel stay for the fall festival

Rachel and Rancid start walking back towards town when they see the sign for the fall festival.

“Let’s take it easy tonight and get an early start in the morning,” Rancid says. “Where do you want to go for dinner? There are the usual fast food places but their food is too greasy. Let’s walk for a bit and maybe we’ll come up with somewhere to go. Otherwise we could always go back to the hotel and eat in their dining room.” 

Rachel likes that idea the best. Maybe she can take a quick nap before they go downstairs to eat. 

“Rancid, you were great today,” Rachel says. “But then, I knew that you’d be great. Everyone loved you when you hosted the Friends’ Got Talent show. Is this going to be your new occupation?” 

Rancid chuckles at the thought of that. He never even considered that but it’s a possibility. They see the hotel just up ahead and Rachel starts running. She teases Rancid that she will beat him to the entrance.

“Oh no, you won’t,” teases Rancid. “I can run faster than you!” 

They both get to the front door at the same time.  He opens the door for her and they both walk inside. 

“That’s one thing that I really like about Rancid,” thinks Rachel. “He’s such a gentleman. He always opens the door for me and holds out the chair for me to sit down in a restaurant. I’m really lucky to have found him. Maybe I will say yes to him tonight.”
