Time goes by quickly, once more and it’s now time for everyone to go home.
Hugs and kisses all around.
When Tiffi and the pumpkins arrive at her house, Mr. Toffee is waiting for all of them. They dump their pumpkins on the dining room table.
“Wow Tiffi, that’s a lot of candy,” says Mr. Toffee. “And you don’t really eat that much candy. What are you going to do with all of this?”
Tiffi doesn’t know but it’s late and she’d rather just go to sleep. They all say goodnight.
Early the next morning, Tiffi is still snoring away! Mr. Toffee tries to wake her up. He calls out her name and gently shakes her shoulder but no reaction.
“Tiffi, wake up!,” Mr. Toffee says. “It’s late and your phone has been beeping with text messages for you. I have to leave for the store now so please wake up.”
Tiffi opens up her eyes and then looks at the time. She jumps up but is still half asleep. She asks if the pumpkins woke up yet.
“What pumpkins are you talking about,” asks Mr. Toffee.
She tells him that she’s talking about the 7 pumpkins that came to visit and they’ve been staying with them. She reminds her father that they all went trick or treating yesterday. Mr. Toffee has this puzzled look on his face.
“Tiffi, there are no pumpkins here,” says Mr. Toffee. “And Halloween is not for another two weeks. It sure sounds like you had a wonderful dream!”
Dream? What dream?
And that’s how our story ends.
It really is a wonderful Tiffi dream, isn't it?
