Tiffi can’t believe it

That same morning as Tiffi is on the way to help some players she takes a short cut through the park. She is still half asleep so when she sees two very young turkeys having a conversation she thinks that she must be dreaming. She rubs her eyes and looks again. Yep they are still there and they are talking! What’s going on? Since when do turkeys speak? Wow these must be very special turkeys because they usually just gobble but these young ones are speaking to each other. She takes a few moments to listen in.  

“Tom, how are we going to convince everyone not to eat turkey for Thanksgiving?” asks Bertha. “I am so afraid that they will kill Mommy and then who will look after us?” 

Tom tells his younger sister that they need to write a letter and post it somewhere, or make a sign. But where could they post it? And how can they not only talk but write too? 

Tiffi needs to hurry over to help a player with their game so she doesn’t have time to listen to their entire conversation.

“We need to get something to write on,” says Tom.  “Maybe some paper and a stick kind of like what our mothers are carrying. We need to make a statement! I don’t see any paper or sticks here in the park. Guess we’ll have to keep walking and hopefully we find something soon.”
