The to-do list has been completed

The day is coming to an end. Rachel and Rancid are exhausted. But they did manage to take care of a lot of things today.

“Do we have anything left to do?” questions Rancid. 

Rachel is busy getting dinner ready but she stops to think of what they did today. Invitations are in the mail but they have to post the wedding invitation in the community when this story gets posted. Cakes are on order and the wedding favor ornaments have been ordered. Blossom is handling the flowers so that’s done too.  

“I have to call Le Bistro tomorrow morning,” says Rachel. “What do you want to do with regards to the food? I think we should just go with the cheese and fruit and then they can serve the hot hor d'oeuvres. With this pandemic we really can’t be physically close to everyone so it’s not a good idea to do a buffet with hot appetizers and dips. The bakery will deliver our cakes and we don’t have to stay at the restaurant for a long period of time. We can always invite our friends back to our house, but we can’t decide that until that day. We have to see what’s going on with the virus. Some people might not want to come back to our house. It’s really not the best time to have an event like this but you’ve waited long enough to marry me so we’ll make it sweet and short.” 

Rancid agrees with everything that she said. Time to sit down to eat dinner.
