Time marches on …….
“Rancid, do you realize that we don’t have much time left to prepare for the wedding?” asks Rachel. “Look at the calendar. There are exactly five weeks from today until we get married. We haven’t taken care of the food! I haven’t spoken to Blossom to find out what colors she’s using for the flowers. What else do we still have to take care of. I have to go to the bakery story to order the wedding cake. We got so carried away with Halloween and the scarecrow contests.”
Rancid gives his honey bunny a hug and tells her that he will go get the writing pad and they can go over the list of what still needs to be done.
He comes back to the living room and had already written ‘Order cake’ and ‘Send invitations’. He shows her that he had already started the list.
“We have to send out the invitations tomorrow morning first thing,” Rancid says. “We can post a copy of the invitation in the Friends community. I think it’s a good idea that players come to a virtual wedding since we will be limited to the number of guests with this COVID-19 virus. We can find out how to set up Zoom so that the players could watch us get married. We can send out the invitations to our bridal party and family. I don’t think we should invite too many people since they are limiting the number of people in a room.”
Rachel agrees with him and the two of them sit down to figure out everything that they need to attend to.
Let’s continue - Time to mail out the invitations
