Sleigh bells ring
are you listening
in the lane
snow is glistening
A beautiful sight
we're happy tonight
walking in a winter wonderland
Elsa can’t believe that it’s almost Christmas day. She looks outside and is quite surprised to see that it’s snowing. Going back to her computer, she thinks about the type of story she should write next. She just completed Let It snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! and by the end of the week Rachel and Rancid get married will be posted in the Friends community.
This has not been a fun year at all with the COVID-19 virus. It wasn’t a very good year all over the world. She had to spend all the holidays at home without family but better safe than sorry. Who would want to get that COVID-19 virus and this week on the news it mentioned that England has now found another strain of the virus? Will it ever end?
With that in mind, she thinks ahead to January hoping that the virus will then be under control. Time to do a bit of googling for her next story.
She googles winter, snow, snowmen …………. Then she stops to think about winter and how to describe it. Nothing much comes up in the search so she takes a few minutes to describe what she thinks winter is all about.
“Winter is God's way for a time out…every creation slows down,” Elsa thinks. “Winter is clean, crisp then cold, even a little unusually warm certain times. It can be clean with its snow and crisp cold air. Winter is hot drinks, especially hot chocolate. It is also wearing layers of clothing to keep warm. Winter is in a class of its own!”
OMG! It’s winter and I haven’t checked to see if my jacket still fits from last year. She takes it out of the closet and looks at herself in the mirror. Yes! It still fits.
Let’s continue – Elsa recalls a memory from childhood
