New Year’s Eve day

As usual in the Candy Kingdom, time goes by fast and it’s now New Year’s Eve. Everyone is doing their thing but staying home, nonetheless. Before they all realize it, the sun has gone down and it’s almost time for them to all meet on Zoom. 

Elsa opens up the Zoom app and gets all paperwork prepared for the evening. Tiffi calls Elsa for any last minute things that need to be done. Elsa tells her not to worry. It’s all her friends so things will be just fine. Some of the characters are ready to log in. She opens up the meeting and they all start logging in one after the other. However, some have never experienced a live video chat so she has to tell them how to unmute their microphone.  A couple of them don’t have their cameras on so she has to help them too. She never thought about sending them instructions on how to set up their audio and video ahead of time. It doesn’t take too long and they are now ready to start. 

Rancid, let’s get it started!

“Hi guys, I told Tiffi that I would host this meeting but it’s really more or less a chit chat among us,” says Rancid. It’s nowhere near the same thing as when we had the talent shows. So how is everyone doing tonight?” 

A couple of them respond to him and then Yeti asks ………… 

“So how is married life treating you Rancid?” 

Rancid has the biggest smile on his face and looks at his honey bunny next to him with stars in his eyes. 

“The wedding was perfect,” Yeti says. “But it was a bit tough with this pandemic to really communicate considering that we needed to have space between us. But we did it and now you’re a married raccoon! Let’s get the evening started!” 

Jean-Luc raises his head, just like in school, and he asks if him and his brother can go first. Rancid gives them the go-ahead.
